Secomea launches the TrustGate560R Gigabit firewall and VPN concentrator for large enterprises and data centers. The TrustGate560R is the first product dual redundant power supplies.

Secomea launches the GateManager M2M Server model 4250, a shrink wrap low  power consumption 1U rack version of the software based model 8250. GateManager 4250 will allow fast and easy deployment of an own M2M server installation.

The SiteManager unit with integrated 3G modem is elevated to operate as a full-blown SMS gateway for both receiving and sending SMS messages via Serial or Ethernet connected equipment.

Secomea launches the LinkManager Mobile as an integrated service on all GateManager5 servers, enabling easy and secure remote access from your smartphone to any device with a web GUI or a remote.desktop service.

Secomea releases the GateManager5 server, with a modern, ultra-fast, and entirely web-based GateManager portal, replacing the Java-based GateManager console of previous versions.

Based on feed-back from the European distribution channel and local partners, Secomea introduces the SiteManager 1029 and 3229 as the first products in a series of cost effective appliances, designed to fit all automation segments ranging from large machines to small utility installations.

The TrustGate series is extended with WiFi Access Point support.

Secomea launches the TrustGate460R as the first Gigabit firewall and VPN concentrator for large enterprises and data centers, and concurrently the TrustGate5 series is replaced with the TrustGate60 series that increases performance 10 fold.

Secomea launches SSL/VPN as an add-on module to GateManager and leverage from the SoftClient principles. The SSL/VPN solution is in 2011 in production with up to 8000 uses on the same server.

Secomea launches the TrustGate SoftClient for 32 and 64 bit Windows. The product is based on the EasyTunnel technology and sets new standards for how easy a PC based VPN client can be installed.

2008

Secomea introduces the SiteManager and LinkManager that together with GateManager constitutes a true plug-and-go solution for remote device access. Later in 2008 the SiteManager is also launched as a Windows software.

Secomea launches the TrustGate 160 and 260 firewalls for Medium size business. By its fan-less technology combined with three WAN ports, of which one being a 3G/GPRS modem, these products are ideally suited for bundle budget Internet lines to achieve maximum up-time.

In relation to Eastman Kodak’s acquisition of the print division Intermate A/S, the Secomea R&D staff and Sales director successfully completes the acquisition of Secomea A/S from Intermate Holding.

The Office Network Solutions (ONS) and Remote Device Management (RDM) divisions are spun off into the separate company Secomea.

The Secure Industrial Gateway (SIG) product line is extended with the first GPRS/EDGE/3G product.

Intermate introduces the Secure Industrial Gateway (SIG), which utilizes the EasyTunnel and GateManager technology to facilitate remote access to industrial equipment. The concept is tailored for the automation industry and is based on the new Remote Device Management (RDM) business division, which supplements the existing Office Network Solutions (ONS) division driving the TrustGate market segment.

2004

The TrustGate300R series is launched. The 300R series targets large enterprises and data centers, and supports 2000 VPN tunnels.

GateManager was launched. It was now possible to monitor and maintain all TrustGate appliances via a central Internet based server. GateManager also served remote monitoring of Intermate’s range of advanced print servers.

EasyTunnel is launched and revolutionizes the easy by which VPN networks can be deployed.

2002

The TrustGate5 series is introduced. The total sales of this product exceeded 20.000 units in 2006, and still 4 years after its discontinuation in 2010 the product is used at many locations and is still maintained with firmware upgrades by Secomea.

2001

The first VPN appliance solution is launched, targeting medium size business.

1999

With foundation in R&D know-how and Network technologies combined with market research and feed-back from existing channels, Intermate establishes a separate R&D development branch dedicated to making cost effective VPN for the office segment.
